Global Business ServicesThis two-year program is focused on driving the convergence of data, processes, tools and people, and delivering cost leadership. Emerging leaders develop innovative technology and process improvement solutions to help clients grow and compete. Four career paths are available: Operations, Technology, Engineering and Measurement Sciences. Candidates assume roles of increasing responsibility that focus on vital business processes.
Utilize process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean to reduce cycle time and defects; establish key metrics to be used in determining acceptable performance levels of a business process.
Manage the development of a Metrics Reporting Tool throughout all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC); build technical skill set while working on teams to develop flexible and sustainable solutions to accurately capture audience viewing across all media spaces (online, mobile, television).
Manage the development of a technology solution for internet- enabled TVs. This technology detects traffic coming from TVs (YouTube, Netflix, Hulu) and sends it back for crediting; partner with engineers at TV stations/networks to diagnose signal problems that impact measurement and lead definition of technology solutions.
Work with managers on research projects across the globe, including testing the TV services and other global projects such as Life360, China 3-Screens, Nielsen Mobile, and Nielsen Consumer; partner directly with stakeholders and operational groups to conduct innovative research on a variety of projects.
Watch Client SolutionsPrepare yourself for a career in product development, analytics, consulting, and marketing and communications focused on "what people watch." This 18-month program provides rotational assignments in Client Service, Media Product Leadership and Management, Research and Data Analytics, and Sales Support.
Financial LeadershipThis two-year program provides exposure to financial planning and analysis, investment decision-making, controllership, risk management and valuation, and treasury operations on both the corporate and business unit level. The program's structure combines challenging coursework on financial topics, professional development and hands-on work experience.
Human ResourcesIn this two-year program, candidates work with Nielsen leaders to attract, retain, and develop the talent needed to grow our business and to help global clients succeed. Potential assignments include a rotation within a developing market (e.g., Brazil, Russia, India, China) and involve an HR specialty such as compensation, organization, leadership development, and staffing.
