With more devices at our fingertips than ever before, understanding how consumers use technology is essential for brands today. With that in mind, Jack Myers, MyersBizNet, sat down with our global president and chief operating officer (COO), Steve Hasker, to discuss where the company stands with Total Audience Measurement, our strategy to track viewers wherever and however they consume media. Throughout 2015, we’ve been hard at work bringing together measurement across devices, clarifying the time periods we measure, creating a system to measure dynamic ads and beginning to measure subscription viewing.
The good news? “All of the pieces are now in place,” says Hasker. “The question is really just ramping it all up.”
The two also explored how Nielsen plans to tackle the measurement and data challenges created by future technology trends, from the Internet of things to driverless cars and wireless electricity.
