No Small Impact: NGID7 Activates Over 25,000 Global Nielsen Volunteers
For Nielsen Global Impact Day 2018, on June 21, over 25,000 Nielsen associates—a record number of volunteers—across 91 countries volunteered in more than 1,450 events. Associates use NGID to give back to our communities in all kinds of ways: fighting hunger in food banks and farm fields, promoting inclusion through programs for the elderly and disabled, encouraging education in classrooms and afterschool programs, and participating in clean-ups to help restore our environment.

In Vietnam, this year we focused on helping orphans and the elderly. Nielsen associates across six cities visited orphanages, nursing homes centers for handicapped and disadvantaged adults. We spent our time preparing lunches, organizing various fun and meaningful activities and delivering donations valued at VND 82,000,000.

The Difference a Day Makes: Thousands Volunteer on Fifth-Annual Nielsen Global Impact Day
On June 2, 2016, more than 23,000 Nielsen associates came together to volunteer for Nielsen Global Impact Day (NGID). This marked our fifth-annual global day of service, and the impact was one of the strongest yet.
